- Advantages of the technique: MESA is a method of spermatozoa surgery in the epididymis, first successfully applied in non-sperm patients due to aplasia of two congenital vasectomy. - Complications: Usually scrotum only slightly swollen and painful for a few days, but does not hinder movement and activities. Manage by caring the incision site with 10% Betadine solution, changing bandages regularly (2-3 times daily), keeping wounds dry and clean.

Sucking sperm epidermal through the skin (abbreviated as PESA)

- Technical advantage: PESA is a minimally invasive method that can be performed with local anesthesia, with a success rate of about 65%. This is a more straightforward, simpler method, and the resulting sperm sample is usually low in blood and corpse.

- Care after suctioning sperm: Just tap once to poke the area right after surgery. The next day, remove the tape. Antibiotics are usually not needed. Patients may take regular analgesics (paracetamol) for a few days

- Complications: Scrotum sometimes mild swelling and pain for a few days, but does not hinder movement and activities. Patients should wear loose underwear after poking to slightly lift the scrotum. Hematoma, if present is usually mild and resolves.

Infertility treatment for non-sperm couples can be done by getting sperm from the epididymis (MESA, PESA). Treatment is often combined with ICSI techniques to increase success rates.
